Carne Class - Reception and Nursery
In Carne Class we use the EYFS curriculum. Children learn through play and practical based activities. Not only do activities focus on academic abilities but also on social and emotional aspects, supporting the child as a whole.
Library Day - Tuesday AM
PE - Wednesday PM
The Reading Lotto Draw - Monday (Children from Reception must have read four times at home with an adult in one week and have their reading records signed).
Please can children always have a sun hat and sun cream in their bag!
Summer Term 2
Under The Sea
This half term the children will be learning about life under the sea. We will be learning about different creatures, their life cycles and food chains and how we can make a difference to sea life.
The children will be making their own sea creatures to display in the classroom and will be spending time on the beach searching for 'treasure'.

This term Carne class will be focusing on the question ' When I Grow Up I Want To Be...?'
Over the course of the topic the children will be finding out about a range of different jobs through first hand experiences and through classroom based research.

This week our children attended a Farm to Fork workshop at Tesco's in St Austell. The children had the opportunity to make bread, hold fish and try a range of cheeses.
Last week the children became chefs and made their own pizzas with the help of the management at Pizza Express! Thank you to all the staff and Mrs Bullen for supporting the children in this exciting activity.
