2020 Remote learning and emergency closure information
With the usual term time sailing cancelled The Roseland Youth Sailing Trust are proposing to pay for 100 local school children from their existing schools programme to have free 1:1 lessons.  Numbers are tight and demand is likely to exceed availability.
These lessons will be provided by Bob Warren's 'Roseland Paddle and Sail' Sailing School during the summer holidays. We feel that it will not only give them new skills but hopefully will give them a great deal of fun and enjoyment.
NB Parents must then contact the sailing school direct in order to book the lessons.

Weekly assemblies that you can access at home
We are hugely excited that the first Oak National Academy assembly will be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and the Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson. The Archbishop’s address will be streamed through TES from 10 am on Thursday 30 April 2020. It will then remain available on the Oak National Academy website and here is the link to their website:
We are an online classroom and resource hub created by teachers, for teachers. Our aim is to support teachers to support their pupils. We provide a bank of high-quality, sequenced video lessons and resources for teachers to use as they wish.
Thursday’s event is expected to be the biggest school assembly ever held in the UK. Assemblies at Oak National Academy will be held in partnership with TES and be delivered by a range of well-known faces. They will focus on topics like hope and resilience, as well as practical advice and support. They will act as a moment for the country’s pupils to come together and provide reassurance during this uncertain time.
